Girls Baseball Program

Baseball Manitoba is excited to bring Girls Baseball to Winnipeg, Morden, and Brandon this Spring! Girls Baseball is a development program for girls ages 7-13 who want to learn to play baseball - no experience necessary. The goal is to develop and improve a baseball skill-set while giving players an opportunity to grow and develop in a fun, all-girls setting. The program will be led by members of our Senior Womens Team and will include: T-shirts, Hats, and Skills Training!
All aspects of this program will follow the Return to Play health and safety guidelines. This includes:
- Social Distancing
- Frequent Hand Washing
- No Sharing of Equipment or Personal Items
- No Spitting, Chewing Gum, or Eating Sunflower Seeds
- No Touching
At the end of the 8-week camp, players and coaches from all 3 locations will be invited to attend a 1-day Jamboree Style Event in Portage la Prairie filled with games and activities! More details to come.
May 8 to June 26 (Saturdays - 8 Sessions)
10:00am to 11:30am (ages 7-9)
11:30am to 1:00pm (ages 10-13)
1:00pm to 2:30pm (ages 7-9) - Winnipeg Only

- Skill Development
- Instruction from Team Manitoba Coaches and Players
- Low player to instructor ratio
- Camp T-shirt and Hat
- Throwing, receiving, fielding, hitting, base running and strategic instruction
- Jamboree event for all players and coaches
Players will be required to bring their own glove and are encouraged to bring their own bat, helmet, or any other equipment they may use. All personal items must be clearly marked. Baseball Manitoba will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
