Safe Sport

Baseball Manitoba believes in being proactive in ensuring baseball is safe and enjoyable so that all our participants are able to "Create a Memorable Baseball Experience". As such, many of our Policies are there to protect our young athletes. Coach Education, through NCCP Programs and Respect in Sport are great ways to educate our members. We have also developed and advertised a Concussion Awareness plan.

NCCP Safe Sport Training

Safe Sport is a free eLearning module designed to give coaches the knowledge and skills to create safe and inclusive sport environments by recognizing, addressing, and preventing maltreatment in sport. The training can be accessed using your coaching account at The Locker or by visiting the Safe Sport website -

Sport Manitoba Sport Support Line

The toll-free sport support line is responded to 365 days of the year. In Manitoba, the law requires that anyone who suspects a child may be in danger must report their concerns. The Support Line can assist you in making that report. For any suspected incidents of abuse, harassment, bullying, and hazing in sport, call 1-877-737-9875 immediately.
